Vulcan Bomber, Red Arrows, Lancaster & Others
I was at an event at Cambridge Airport on Sept 20th hosted by the Marshall Group (who own the airport, among other things) to celebrate their centenary.
I've never done avaiation before so God knows what these look like on anyone else's monitor. Weather was nice but didn't help by being cloudy and sunny all in the wrong direction and at the wrong time.
Here goes.
C130 in the Hangar
de Havilland Dragon Rapide
Hawker Demon
XH558. Didn't do any turns near me so wasn't able to get the shape in shot lit properly. Balls.
Hurricane
Avro Lancaster
B-17 'Sally B'
C130
DC3 Dakota
And a Red Arrows-Fest;
Something you don't see often. Ten Red Arrows.
Regular 9 fly-by
Diamond Nine
Swan Formation
Can't remember what this one was, Big Vixen?
Stack
And a bit arty to end.

Looks like it was a good day out. Some cool pictures.
The 'Big Vixen' photo does look like a variation of the formation, but the outer trailing aircraft normally slightly further out, and the inner trailing two are normally slightly further back. Possibly mid-transition?
Good to see XH558 too.

Some of them are amazing, well done! As a keen aviation enthusiast myself I know aviation photography can be difficult as the things are going so fast!

yeah but it says 420mm for some so that could be with teleconvertor or something like a sigma 135-500mm lens

could 420 not just be down to a crop factor? not sure how that works out with exif

It doesn't do anything with crop factor. If you're using a 300mm lens at 300mm the exif will record 300mm.
These were shot with either Sig 70-200 or 120-300 with and without the 1.4x TC
