Recommend a good motherboard? - Saxperience

Motherboard thought it would be good to die on me.

Got everything out the pc and now needing a good but not crazy priced motherboard. I have the cpu so i need to find a replacement. Not too fussed if its second hand but just something decent spec'd

939 socket im sure the cpu is also ;-)

939 is a old socket.. are you bothered?

There's only 1 motherboard listed on the website I use..

Upgrades etc are more expensive for the older type, as the new one's are mass produced so cheaper.

If you got all the part's though, and not fussed about the slow speed.. just get another AM1/939 board..

I may just upgrade the cpu then.. Whats a good motherboard cpu upgrade? I dont fancy going upgrading everything but suppose if its old i dont mind upgtading these.

Intel i5 2500k and compatiable mobo is a great and cheap upgrade...
