Loved the pics, looks like you are going much faster. Screwfix will wonder why the sudden rush on these parts.

woop woop my tubes turned up late this afternoon, i knocked together a quick test rig, the tubes dont flex at all which is great but everything was only held together with shed loads of tape so things moved about abit. also i found it quite difficult to find a flat surface on my clio. anyways here is a quick test pic i only had a small space by my house to test it, sorry about the flare from the headlight, it was dark and i cant remember how to turn of my auto lights lol

this shot is with only 2 tubes and it seems they have sent me 2 kits so i have another 6 tubes left lol

not a pic of the direct rig but have the original image before photoshopping out the rig, you can only see one of the suction mounts in the pic though basically i did the same as this

slight update on this

today i did some modifications to the rig in preperation for a test shoot tomorrow, the tubing i have got is 1.5" aluminium tube making it light and strong, it also has a flange allowing the top of one tube to connect into the bottom of the next tube. today i set about drilling the tubing to keep it secure whilst the pieces were joined together, the tubes will then be connected to my suction mounts using jubliee / hose clips.

the two bolts in each tube are placed at right angles to make the join more secure and stopping the tube from deforming into an oval shape. i also labelled each tube and the position to make it easier for assembly as the holes arent in the same place on every tube
