the speed should really effect as if its stuck then it stuck, the only thing would be if the increase in speed ment the rig moved around more as it went over more bumps in a shorter space of time. i drove with mine on at about 20mph and it was fine when moving the car. most shots though are done at walking speed using a long exposure, often the car is pushed along from behind as the engine can cause vibrations

just take some static shots of yur car and add some motion blurrrrr on ps
much cheaper and less hassle

im looking at making one of these, what is the best way of attaching the tripod to the pole?
also is there anyway of making sure the camera does not fall off the tripod?

if its a proper tripod it wont fall off.
i used jubilee clips to hold the tripod to the pole.

I personally would invest in a decent head and clamp head rather than a bodged on tripod.

i take it as long as the pads are clean and the car is clean it wont scratch the paint?

I've just made mine, is there anyway of strenghing up the polls?? Due to a lot of flex in the pole?
