Just watched on tv, I was planning on going but felt crap so didnt go.

Was a bit pissed off the route was all north this year, looked like todays route was good for pics though with it being several laps, unlike a normal tour stage where you get about 10-15 seconds to get it right lol

id personally crop them quite a bit tighter to have them better in the frame and remove alot of the unwated background.

thats because you normally crop them at non normal proportions.
Which is what looks shit, normal proportions and cropping is effectively like zooming

See 1 thats just been straightend and cropped slightly, other one just cropped to remove the other wheel (just so it looks cleaner/neater). Cycling isnt easy to shoot by any means, and these are not the best examples to have done by any means as sometimes it is nicer to have alot more room in the shot

Some times you need to crop photos sometimes not, its all as and when its needed.

its annoying we dont have a large protour here, and the tour de france this year was mostly soouthern france to.

Still might attack that again in 2010.

Nice piccys, i went and rode out to watch the Stoke stage with a few mates, was really good. Got me in the mood for racing again next season.

Ryan- might have not been very good for you being down south, but us northeners had two stages to watch. Blackpool and stoke for me.

Some pretty good pics there, i can imagine how difficult it would be to capture the cyclist, so good work
