Nah, it's a really informal day. The guys in caterhams etc were wearing them but i think mostly to keep the bugs out of their teeth!
I'll try and get some more videos uploaded this week and post them up as I can.
Need to get looking for a cheap satchshift and an XSi gearbox!!

Here's another video. I always wanted to try the GoPro on the roof. I put the mount over the Ariel holes so it does 2 jobs hehehe.

Quick update:
Curborough booked again with Sam and EdBradley on 22nd August... Can't wait to get back there and try to beat my times. The car should be able to do way better times I just need to get a bit less sympathetic and try to break it!
I need to get my coilover conversion parts fitted and try to find a newer gear lever arm and linkage plate to try and ease up the gear shifts.... Or find a satchshift for dirt cheap!

Get it booked mate. Only £60 for the day!
Would be cool to see the scrappage survivor hitting the track.

That's weird.... I was just looking at plates with 'I survived the Scrappage Scheme'!
I'll be watching not partaking. Could put the nazi wagon on though!

Cool, get some!!
Yeah, get booked on, it's a great day and you do get a lot of runs. We didn't really push for as much time as we could have but we were learning every time we went out.
Would be good to get a few others out there this time. I will try and get a passenger seat in this time too.

For that money Josh, it's worth booking a premier inn for the night before. Would STILL be cheaper than a full trackday this time of year!
Infact....

Rooms are available for the night before for £39... Plus the cost of the day totals £99. That's the cheapest Javelin do a day for if you book it a few months in advance. It's definitely worth it if anyone is wondering about coming. Just book early as you can as the spaces go pretty quick.
Would be really nice to see some others there in similar cars so I can figure out just how slow I am compared to others hahaha.

Edit: 2.5hrs from me, not as far as I thought, will see if I can make it to one at some point

I filled the tank in the morning and did a total of 180 miles on the nose and only used half a tank!! So about £35 worth... plus your £99 is still cheaper than a "normal" track day.

I used just under £40 worth of fuel, but that was cruising there. Did about 18 runs between me and my brother and then drove home at the speed limit.
