Check all the leads are ok, buzzing is usually interfierence.
That or you've fried the amp somehow.

No idea what the interfierence will be?
Well its plugged in and on ALL the time and my dad turned the elctricity off this morning to change something and since then its went like this.
Its now working on my laptop, abit crackly but then il go and plug it in my tv and it will not work. Id put up with it for a short while until i got a new one! i just cant watch films/360/ps3 with the standard tv speakers.
Cheers

Was it left on when he turned the power back on?
If so its highly likely this has done damage, especially if it's a cheaper set up (cheaper ones are less likely to have surge protection for the amp)

It was left on yeah, its on 24/7. I'll know for next time after this.
It wasnt a expensive 5.1 surround sound :/
Cheers Ryan. I was after a new set up anyway but not just yet haha. Fs

It may not be, but the fact that it's started doing it after the power being cut them put back on doesnt sound promising.
Domt leave it on 24/7 either.

Devices like Amps generate heat, some cheaper set ups dont have as good cooling etc...
If its under a year old it may be under warranty

Have you checked simple stuff like all your connections are fully plugged in, and that any input wires that are not plugged in are not touching a surface?

You're not too far from me, I've got a spare dvd/surround sound (samsung) you can have for free it just needs speaker wire. Just like it to go to a good home!

Could be either a ground loop, plug your laptop in the same outlet as your amp.
But if the electricity was cut and it's been doing that ever since, then could be a blown capacitor. That's about 20 minutes of repair time + 50 pence for the capacitor. In either case I would repair it instead of sending in the bin unless it really is cheap crap.
