Default Which Alternator

Hi all,
The alternator on my '99 VTR packed up this week. When I took it off the car the sticker said it was an 80 amp one. The local dealers ordered one for me and its identical on the outside to the old one. But when I was about to fit it I noticed the label said it was 90 amps.
Could anyone tell me if its ok to fit this one,or would it cause any kind of electrical problems ?

Cheers

Thanks for that.
Just fitted it yesterday as the ring connector on the wire broke off when I tried to fit a few days ago.
Incidentially the max amps shown on the packs of ring connectors in the parts shops shows 25amps. I've fitted one of these. Do you know if it'll cause any probs on a 90 amp alternator??
