Default How much will it cost to end my contract?

I'm on EE and have been for nearly 3 years. My contract ends 5th June 2014. But signal is bad where I live now and I want to get an iphone on o2, my contract is £16 a month at the moment. Anyone have any idea how much they will charge me to end it early?

£16 x 14 months = £224 (give or take a few £ for the fact you are in a month and may or may not have yet paid this month)

You may be able to get away with nothing or a hell of a lot less if you can prove that you are paying for a service they are not providing.

Yeah I might try that one. I heard that you can sometimes cancel your contract for free if you don't get signal.

I vaguely remember a precedent, and it's a breach of contract. They can't charge you for a service you're not getting at your place of residence or something along those lines.
