hey...
im new to the forum, got a cheeky little vtr not long ago and its fun.
im not gunna be a post whore, but to simo and the rest, i really appreciate this site, the how to's and the threads with advice on s.chargers and turbo's etc are really informative and helpful.
so i thought id try and help.
many of you may know this already but some may not.
i noticed some people paying 1200 + tpft for furio's etc.
make sure you phone around. using exactly the same details some companies quoted me 2000 +,
many people used to try and get put on their parents policy, this doesnt help much any more.
INSTEAD. get ur own policy, ( say it wud be kept in the garage ) even if it wont etc, but then
ADD YOUR MOTHER to YOUR policy. i added mine, and said that there were 2 other cars in the household. and i got my quote down to 1100 TPFT. which to some of you may be crap, but its alot better than i could have expected as i used to pay 2900 for my pug 307.
age 19
no claims or points
car - 51plate 1.6 VTR.
mods - none stated.
birmingham-uk
company used - quinn insurance.
1100 TPFT
PUT YOUR MOTHER ON YOUR POLICY. lol
hope i could have saved some body some money.
andy. new sax whore.
