They're not that easy to find. I got mine from a breakers... I've heard they're sometimes going on the rallye register.
Thanks for all the comments guys!

Im suprised you will need £3k for a decent TB setup with the cash you have
already thrown at the engine Toad mate??
I had similar issues with the ABS sensors, got the sorted before XMAS last year,
the sensors themselves were quite expensive for what they are!!
Definatly get the driveshaft issue sorted, I noticed also you have issues with
the gearbox now from reading on PGTi?? Sounds like a right pain!!!

Thanks Boss.
Rushy, 3K is about right I think, PLUS, that's if I keep my current 708 cams! I'll be looking at 2K for all the parts, and then after that, it could easily reach another grand...
I'm worried about the gearbox, but I've got a bad feeling about this one. Everything i've done with this car has gone wrong... It never seems to work out smoothly

Thanks for the comments chaps.
Belly, it was a stage 4 I believe. It doesn't mean anything, it's just their way of breaking it down. So, the inlet valves are still the same ones, but the exhaust valves are bigger. Here's some pics if you're interested...

Engine management mate. I need a standalone ECU and a proper good map... However, it would be silly not to get the TBs done at the same time, so I'm going for that as the next step. My car is jumpy at the moment, and it's not that pleasant to drive unless you are giving it some beans! I'm concerned about the gearbox too, it will be just my luck if that thing screws up.

Pain in the ass Toad about the Gearbox! After proving to me how much of an
awesome mod it is too!
Did you get it reconditioned before fitting? If so then maybe let the same guys
have another look at it? Would definatly get it looked into. Obviously the
car is driven harder now due to the shorter ratios and the fact you cant help it!
Maybe thats another concern bud?

Ahh well... You never know, it might not be the gearbox. I will get it checked out though. I've got 7 days off of work soon, so I will be trying to fix as many things as possible during the period!
As far as the gearbox goes, it's no different to my original GTI one, it's just different as far as crown wheel and pinion go, and they are the same physically, just different settings if that help you imagine it? So it should be able to take the welly I give it!
Still got those mud flaps to put on!
Need a new offside driveshaft!
Need a new wheel ABS sensor!
ARB is flopping around again!
Need the gearbox looking at!
Need to sort the jumping / fuelling issue!
Need a proper ECU and throttle bodies!
Some list... And that's just the things that require fixing!
