Default Giving the car a good workover..

Changing Spark Plugs
Oil Change
Oil Filter Change
Air Filter Change

Would this make any noticable difference to engine sound/performance..

Also add any other things i could get done in giving the car a good service..

Thanks people..

If they havn't been done in a while then it might bring back some lost power, but dont expect miracles. Do it all the same though mate

Any garage will be able to do that no problem. You'd probably see a small gain on a rolling road due to having new plugs but as above you wont notice a difference. Its a good idea to get the garage to have a look round the whole car including the rest of engine when you take it in, its likely they'll spot other components that could do with renewing shortly.

Ive just been doing little things to make the car sound healthier/better..

I changed the Idler Pully and found out that the one i took off was completely abliterated.. and it sounds lush now..

I just want it running nicely thats all, i know changing a few oils and filters wont improve much but it will be running nicely

Change your fuel filter as well, if its very old the car may idle a but lumpy. But top marks for looking after your car, many don't bother.

Can't see it costing anything more the couple hunderd and for that you'd get a fair amount done.
