Default 1.1 brake hose rubbing on tyre

Hello, I just signed up for a bit of help, i have searched for this specific problem but with so much info on brake upgrades etc I cant find the answer.

Ive had a few in the past but the brother has bought a 2001 1.1 4 stud 106.

We have tried a few different alloys on but the problem is that although there is plenty of clearance and no rubbing on shocks bodywork etc, when you turn in full lock the brake hose rubs on the edge of the alloy/tire.

Has anyone experienced this before?

I was thinking the brake hose may be on wrong?
Maybe if it was rotated a spine or two?
Longer hose?

thanks

David
