Default Gearbox oil leak

Hi my diesel saxo gearbox leaks oil at where the gear linkage bracket enters the transmission? Can i change the seal or its an off trans job?

Box needs dismantled to fix that I'm sure

it's been leaking for years looking at that picture.

I'll look at an exploded diagram later and see what seal goes where.

Oh then it will stay that way lol im not pulling the gearbox off for a stupid seal

And by the way the picture is not of my car, my car has less oil leaking and its been leaking for like 3months now

9677 56 5880 is the part number, it's about 6 quid from the dealer.

I am mistaken it can be done from the outside of the box. it's just behind that arm. it'll come out with a seal pick.
