Default Little bit of advice please

Would this engine (Peugeot 307 1.6 16v engine, NFU engine code) fit in my mk2 vtr 3plug. If so what would I need to adapt it? Or is it basically a straight swap using the vtr loom and ecu? Thanks

that sounds like its going to be a jp4 engine so unfortunately not a straight swap using vtr wiring and control systems - none of the 16vs will work using vtr kit so to speak.
You'd need to acquire all the parts to do a j4 16v (vts/106 gti) engine swap and then have to modify the various bits on the jp4 engine to get it fit it and work properly.
