Right, I'll start this with the usual 'breif history of Beaniemoo' like we always do lol.
I am Moo, and I do my projects with my older brother Beanie.
After a fair few years of doing the usual lowering, fitting wheels etc, when it comes to car modifying, we spent a couple of years doing Minimoto racing all round the country in the Southern British Minimoto Championship winning the 2006 Production Privateer Championship.
Then when the racing came to an end, my brother bought a Mk1 Clio 1.8 16v (very similar to a Williams) as a trackcar which we built into a 220hp 780Kg track legend

Next I wanted a project of my own, so I got myself a cheap Saxo, and we decided to prove our worth by building a show car.

Deciding after spending ££££ on building the Saxo, I decided enough was enough as it wasn't much fun owning, as you turn up at a show, park up and stand there for the day. So as a rebellion to the whole spending ££££ on cars and never using them I bought myself a £900 Saxo Vts and did a fair few trackdays in it, doing no real preperation or maintainence I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Then I decided I wanted a bit more power so I bought a throttle bodied, 'high compression' engine, but decided that the engine deserved something a bit cooler than a Vts to go in so I sold the Vts and got myself a Rallye.
But then 5 days after getting the engine in and mapped I took it to Donnington and...
It wasn't the rad...
Also it wasn't high compression lol
Anyways I got some compensation from the bloke I bought the engine off, and while it was off the road I decided to go the whole hog and build myself a race car.
My mate has recently just bought himself a 106 1.6 Xsi to race in the CSCC Tin tops and after being the pit crew for him for a couple of races I decided that was the way to go.
So I'm going to be building a car to mainly take part in the CSCC tin top class C, but will take it to any race its eligable for that I want to do
And that FINALLY is where my project thread starts.
With the engine in parts we went to the RR day at Atspeed and I dropped the head off for some bigger valves, some mega head work, some uber cams and solid lifters to go with.
Also I got myself some high compression pistons and forged rods as for some reason I didn't have any lol
Got an e mail from Atspeed saying the head and valve gear was read for collection, so today I went down the Rayleigh and collected it, and decided to start my progress thread.
Bigger exhaust valves
Also while I've been waiting for all this to arrive I've begun stripping the Rallye
Thats it for now, just thought I'd get the tread started, hopefully lots of interesting progress to come. Progress will depend on money mainly. We do have a really interesting side project at the moment, but I don't want to put anything about that till I'm sure we can achieve what we're hoping lol
