Same here people, I've sent lots of stuff overseas. Using proper courrier services and keeping good communitcation is the key here. There is no reason why the transation is any different than posting items out to someone in the UK.

Works both ways as well - being overseas I've bought plenty of stuff from the UK and the only time I had a problem was when a seller (on this forum) decided to "not keep to his word" after supplying faulty goods and gave me a load of BS about "personal circumstances" (coincidence...funnily enough) etc. I had to do what Martijn did and go public on here in order to get any of my money back - still well out of pocket though.

Pretty certain that had I been in the UK then he would have been less quick to try and rip me off - although I have heard that he made quite a habit of it even with those close to him.

Does help sometimes having nutcase cousins in Glasgow and Ruislip ready to go sort stuff out for me if needed.

As for those posting in this thread just posting utter spam, it's a pain in the arse to keep up to speed with everything when we have to sift through your shite. There are times and places to be fucking retarded, this is not one.

He gave me his new address. I have nothing else to update.

I did have a good birthday after all. It's amazing what friends and family can do for you.

Sounds as if this may be on its way to getting sorted.

Martijn out of curiosity what date/s have been agreed with your lawyer/legal team for the money to be repaid?

Hopefully this is sorted out soon and all parties can try to get back to relative normality.

Hope your going to be adding interest ontop of what you owe him Jay.
Or something to compensate for the lad being 350 out of pocket for a month or so.

Who's paying for the lawyer? Jay will no doubt get the bill at his new address...

I just really don't like the fact that jay made out like this bloke was taking the piss, had stolen the cage and was trying to con him, when really, he had never sent it in the 1st place..

Not even an open apology, or an explanation to why he even did it

The way i see it mate is that hes needed money and instead of getting a wonga loan out and paying the 2000% APR hes just snaffled your money and just delayed paying it back knowing hes paying no interest.

If he borrowed £350 for 31 days from wonga would see £114 interest fee's,
I just dont think its fair that your pennies out of pocket and hes just gonna get away with scamming you risk free.

It's more than likely that once this is resolved, given that jayline hasn't really offered anything up, he's going to get banned... That's what I reckon anyway. I'd be disappointed if he wasn't.

This, plus I'm hoping Ross has him removed from forums like Rallye Register, because its nothing less than he deserves

Whilst I don't have any influence on RR even though I love that site, I do have here.

Jay is now permanently banned from saxp.

We do not tolerate members behaving in this way towards other members, and I have now received confirmation from Martijn that he is in contact with Jay outside of these forums - meaning we no longer need to keep this avenue of contact open for their communication.

I hope this is a lesson to all members in some ways. Even established members can try and deceive people so be careful with your money. And scammers ... If you think you'll be able to hide behind a post count... You can't.
