Undo everything that you did. Then try start the car you may have possibly locked your ecu.

Follow this guide then try the heater fix.
This will leave you with no immobiliser on your car though so its up to you if you want to take the risk.

PAS
I have this problem with PAS and blower, haven't checked the rear demister yet. My battery light is also showing. Does this mean more than the remedy shown?

No PAS heater and rear demister
Hi
I put a thread on here about not having any PAS then read through further on here and have now found out like many others that I have no heater and no rear demister. We have checked and it looks like one of the red wires from the barrel is broken inside? there doesnt seem to be much room to get to it?
Any ideas please as we are sure this is the problem but if we can fix it ourselves then that would be great.
Thank you

Can anyone tell me where this wire goes to?
Not had my new phase 1 vts long and these 3 stopped working. I found this post and thought brilliant this looks simple
However upon looking I found the red wires from the ignition straight away but they were already disconnected and the other wire is no where to be seen...
Thinking perhaps it's been done already by a previous owner but before this point somewhere and theyve torn the rest of the wire out? Or hid it away somewherw
Obviously at the moment x im quite lost without blowers
Thanks in advance

I was skeptical about this... But I thought fuck it.
You don't need to disconnect the battery to do this. I cut the wires and touched them and didn't die or get shocked, anything for a cheap buzz these days..
Personally I doubt it drains your battery since the wires do not have a permanent live feed.
Initially when I completed the bodge it didn't work, so I cried a little. But saw a 25A fuse next to me... Shoved that in and tried again.. Worked a treat!!
Thanks for this mate.

Has anyone else got any suggestions for anything else I can try because I'm stuck and my car feels like igloo tank to drive and looks like I've been dogging!
Any suggestions and I would be very grateful :-)

My PAS, heaters and heated rear window keep cutting in and out. Want to try this MOD but do you join the two brown wires away from the plug or on the plug?
