Default VTS brake setup or 283mm?

would it be easier to keep my VTS Brakes or is it worth upgrading to the 283mm setup?

how is the brake feel compared to standard vts brakes?

Easier? by doing nothing, that is always the easiest option.
Do you do track days? If not, why bother.

The 283 setup is night and day in front of the stock items. But it is dependent on type of pad, disc (not so much) and whether you opt for the 306gti M/C upgrade also. The latter being pedal assistance/feel rather than an actual benefit.

It weighs a lot. The only draw back.

266mm

283's just weigh a tonne and aren't worth it unless you've got mega power. If you're staying naturally aspirated I wouldn't go bigger than 266.

It's just excess inertia at the wheels you don't need.
