What is Virgin Media internet?
Is Virgin Media Internet ADSL or DSL ?
I need a new wireless router. Would a router with ADSL be also compatible for DSL ?
Thanks

Cable services
Because you're in a fibre optic cable area, you can get all this.
Up to 50Mb broadband
Over 165 digital TV channels
Great value home phone packages
So help yourself to fibre optic broadband, the very best digital TV, and phone services
It dont say.
All i know, we're on cable modem.
So if i bought a ADSL wireless router, would DSL work with it if the Virgin Media connection is that?

adsl is what sky use basically its a telephone cable. if you on virgin you need a router with a ethernet in ....
as you need you virgin modem to run another router...
i have my ambit 256 virgin router with the cable feed running into my netgear wireless router via a ethernet cable
routers dont come with the cable thread on the back thats only modems..

A quick call to Virgin is your best bet cause as everyone has said they now offer both services.
Or check your documentation/service plan details.
