Default Iphone help

Hey all, i need some help. I bought an Iphone on a 24 month contract on vodaphone 3 weeks ago. Only started using it last week and since then the reception was been rubbish. It says...searching then no service. I then have to turn the phone on and off to get the service back...but this creates another problem....the apple logo appears and the phone will only turn on if connected to the laptop via usb or mains charger....bit annoyed that I'm paying for a service that doesn't work properly....what should or can i do....any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

First of all learn to post in the right section.

Second of all backup the iPhone in iTunes then do a full restore see if that helps

I have an iphone and it does that from time to time. Sync it with itunes and click reset on itunes, just make sure you back up anything you have bought first. If it still dosent work it is a vodaphone problem-thats what apple told me!

Common problem with the iPhone on vodafone mate, I got one about 3 weeks ago and been having the same issue. Not to sure about the apple logo thingy. Have a look at the vodafone forums online.

yeh mate if you go into settings turn off 3g and roaming if you dint have 3g coverage that is, if you got 3g coverage in your area no need to turn it off tbh it generally sorts itself out if you don't have 3g and it's on anyway
what you can do is hold in the button at the top of your phone at the same time as pressing in the button at the bottom of the screen when the screen says turn off phone ignore it then the apple sign will show then let the buttons go and the phone will reset itself mate give that a go
