Modern Warefare 2, 0 players online

Everytime i play COD 6 multiplayer on PC in the last couple days, its said there are 0 players online and it wont connect to any team deathmatch games. At first i just thought the servers may have been down, so there was noone online? But last couple days, its said there are 0 total players online. My favourite matches are team deathmatches, but everytime i try connect to a host, nothing happens, as if there are no team deathmatches available. Thats not possible right? Surely out of 6 billion people in the world, someone has a team deathmatch going lol. It will connect to any other game, free for all etc, but not the one i want to play. Has anybody else had this problem? Or anybody know what might be going on here?

Is it a legit game... ? if it is what os u running.. win xp vista 7 ?

ye it is legit mate, for last couple months i been playing team deathmatch perfectly fine, it just started yesterday when i got home from work. Cudnt connect to team deathmatch game, and down at the bottom, it said 0 players online, so i just presumed the servers were down, but its doing same today. Im on windows 7. My mate said i will be shown offline on steam, so i checked, and no, im classed as online.
