Halogen Bulb - Macro/Shutter speed

My bulb blew in my desk lamp... so what better excuse to drag the camera back out and have a fiddle

This was my first use of the tri-pod too

You might have guessed... Ive still not read the manual, but after taking a first shot, I was a bit dissapointed with the reflection/light situation.

So I started to change the shutter speed and cut out the flash. It's interesting (for me) to see the effect!

Now if Fred can help me to get that data stamping tool working, everyone could see what settings I've used

But saying that - I know the princely sum of bugger-all about photography

I can view the Exif easely anyway by right clicking the image... because of
this



Why no longer shutter speeds btw? Longest one is 1/25... Just go over the second

O, and build something like this:
