Good to see it's coming along well! Wish I could say the same for mine, as for the rust I'd just rub it down and slap some red Hammerite on it for the time being, will do the job!

Cheers Paul, PM'd.
Well Spax were meant to ring me today as I requested a call off their website but I heard nothing! I'm going to Demon Tweeks tomorrow to service their Fire alarm so I'll ask them if they know what to do. Failing that I may still need some new front shocks ;(
Hopefully they'll be fixable though.

Am watching this with interest so you better get on with it!
Decided I'm going to replace my gear linkages and fit a 421 mani then that'll be it before the track days start!

Right...
No real update as such!
Just that I'm back off my holiday and I've got a few more parts lined up for the car.
I'll be purchasing a whizzer and a wire brush attachment tomorrow I hope and getting that floor stripped and rust treated. Then i'll get all the gum stuff up. After that I should be ready to tackle the underside of it. I want to get the brake lines checked, bled and new fluid in... Oh, still hunting after a set of Bosch 54 callipers! get new pads and disks fitted. New suspension parts fitted. then hopefully the seat in and sorted. Then, hopefully, it can go for an MOT!
Hopefully it'll pass, then I can get the insurance sorted and get it tested out on the road and get used to it.
Well.... That's the PLAN anyway. Hopefully i don't come across too many issues.
Any one got and ideas on what to use to best remove the tar stuff in the footwells
AND
anything I need to refit for an MOT!?

And a lump hammer! I've got all of them
Cleaned the inside up a bit today so it's not all covered in dust!
Also ripped out the Airbag loom and related equipment. Got to put the momo in out of the VTR so I can steer it
Also getting my door cards measured up and holes drilled ready to fit them.
It started to look like a car again.... kind of!
Still worrying about what i'll need to put back on for the MOT though I knew i shouldn't have thrown away my old silenced centre section

Sounds good, look forward to seeing it at Anglesey!
And yeah boony I want to raise the back of mine at some point as soon as I've got some spare time to do it, it only wants to go up maybe 5-10mm so I need to read through the guides and find the best way to raise it!
