Id imagine they will enforce the wrap-around-seat rule as it restricts your view too much

Its a bit silly as it can stop your head hitting the cage, but then rally seats can have massive side protection (bingo wings ) that limits vision, whereas circuit ones tend to be much slimmer.

Yes.... BUT.... And it's a big but.
TF is for the public, you have family saloons on there, 30 seater coaches etc, cars that can be going 50mph quicker than you at certain points - you need to be able to see in mirrors and who's around you at all times in a split second. TF is also not for race cars... That's what track days & race days are for...

True, I completely understand that, but when strapped in to any bucket seat with harnesses its not easy to do your over the shoulder life saver check. I can certainly see a cars mirrors with any seat. They are trying to prevent a crash rather than think about safety during one. It pretty much bans racecars which is a good thing, but there are a lot of trackday cars in a limbo

See your point and agree Kam - luckily for me I didn't install door bars and don't personally like the wrap around seats as I feel it restricts your peripheral view
Alex - just the B loop should be fine

Should be fine
publish the rules as dictated by whoever... its their job... show up in a shed youll get knocked back, show up in a decent car youll get waved on
drift etc on a clear corner youll probs get no bother.. drift in and out of cars youll get dragged off, theyve got to follow the rules same as any business
they dont want to spoil anyone's fun..but wrapping your car round the armco makes everyone look bad

Reading the actual rules I would say the 250 euro fine is for any infraction to the rules, not just drifting.

Loudest car i've been round was 119db. That was a 962. And that was earplug work.

Its all exponential too so 110 is a LOT louder than even 105

I'm partially deaf because of noise - I spent on average 6 hours a day for over 3 years in 125+ dB(SPL) - the first year or so with no hearing protection other than a carbon helmet. The stupidity and naivety of youth.
