Japan is easy to live in place.
As for the working hours, it is different by a company.
However, I think a big company to be able to take a rest well on Sunday on Saturday.
What kind of company do you want to work in?
The meal is delicious, too.
But it may be some unpleasantness for a Briton because it is hot and humid in the summer.
If there is a place to be worried about, please ask me a question. But it is in easy English!

thanks tochka, ive been looking into the living costs but the only thing that worries me is the tiny apartments a lot of people live in. i like my space and somewhere to clean the car but i suppose its a matter of getting used to it.

Japan may be surely tighter than the U.K. because a country is small.
But the inner city is best as for it.
You dont have to worry about the suburbs like that.
By the way, the local(Nagoya City) rent fee that I live is around 660 £ from 330 £(one month).
The parking lot is around 130 £ from about 66 £.
It is sure that it is custom as you say.
Because all the car enthusiasts do it happily in Japan!
By the way, what kind of feeling is the Japanese image?
My friends want to know it!

Thanks, TonyA!
Thank you in Japanese.
But I was able to understand even English.
I got my SAXO in a specialized shop. It is a very good shop.
Why did I choose SAXO?
The reason is FUN!!!!!!!
And I chose SAXO because I liked rallies.
It is important that the car is light! It is lightness than the power!

if you mean feeling as in reputation it is something like this:
- very hard working, in fact people work too hard
- crazy dress sense
- very busy lives
- they love motorsports
- very interested in western culture
thats my opinion though, i have been watchin a video on youtube with someone living shibuya, tokyo and its definitely intersting. i would like to find out more on the outer suburbs where people live in homes rather than apartments.
oh and by the way the weather doesnt affect me, i have been to the far east and humidity is fine hope you can make it to a british car show sometime.

Thanks, comment!
I am very interesting what kind of image a Briton owns in Japan.
- very hard working, in fact people work too hard
→The Japanese may surely work too much.
However, I think than the tendency fades little by little recently, too
- crazy dress sense
→Hahaha! Will it be a fashion of youths of Shibuya?
It may be so in the inner city.
- very busy lives
→Surely. Because a country is small, there is no help for it.
- they love motorsports
→This is slightly wrong. there is the enthusiastic fan, but most Japanese are not interested in motor sports.
- very interested in western culture
This is right! Japan is interested in Europe culture very much from the defeat World War II.
Is it so? Have you come to Japan before?
Then I am reliable.
