to be honest no, still quite ill. chest pains now full of snot.
been going through my footage from sunday. the best times was set when i was getting to grips with the car. best lap, backed up a few times was a 1,46.5's. during that it was spitting with rain. have footage to edit and upload.
must say there was a few other saxo's at cadwell x2 black ones and a silver one with a blue boot. didnt get chance to chat to any of them.
ive decided the car is going to be a single seater. i may sell me omp seats and buy an alloy bucket
stereo and its x2 speakers are going in the bin, sound proofing from under the two front seats will be removed and also rear spoiler and disc guards. dont see the point in carrying them round track with me.
id like to remove the dash but dont want it looking like a shed.
also have plans to remove the sunroof and plate over with black perspex.
after the above should be 25+kg lighter at least! possibly 30 (weight of tank full fuel)
i took a passenger out at cadwell. nice chap but est his weight to of been 100-120+ kilo. needless to say it killed the way the car pulled and required a lot more time to slow down.
the cars going on a good diet
pictures and video later this week. sorry for delay i know some are waiting patiently for the vids in particular

Yeah we all want the vids mate!!
One thought I had, I believe you're running wheel spacers. I wonder if it's worth trying with these removed. Firtstly they remove unsprung weight immediately. Secondly, it moves the front tyre contact patch centre of rotation away from the centre of the tyre. Put another way, when you turn the front wheels, you want the centre of rotation to be the centre of the tyre. This speeds up the change of direction.
Just an idea for you to try, quite an easy test!

I think single seat is the way forward for you.. and the alloy seat sounds very nice AND light ... when i was in with you, you said how much the car mis-behaved so i think its the best option to get 100% out the car all the time!

Nice man, sounds like you really want to go proper hardcore with the car!! I say get some 23mm rear bars and get some serious suspension going on... you have the driving skills, thats obvious.
Alloy bucket though! think of the back pain and the numb ass!

Yeah, the Grp N suspension is possibly a little rough on the rear torsion bars, also consider adjustable front top mounts to get the camber dialled in perhaps!!
...I just sit about thinking how to make your car faster, it's a disease!!

Alloy seat lol yeah no pain no gain lol. Andy u must come to cadwel 26th
going from 19 to 23 bars is going to be a bad idea. 21 at rhe most. I may try a 25 rear arb. You have to remember the arse of my car is light 23mm bars would be major overkill. I may change from 250lb springs to 300-350
. Damn vid keeps failing to upload!

Yer dnt go too big on the rear t bars, it not always about bigger bars the better, but I know stock hatch racers use 25 mm t bars.
Also, once you get too stiff arb dnt do as much as you think, depends how far you want to go on the suspension, what suspension are you using?
