Odd problem with some software - help needed
I am having a strange problem with a particular program on my laptop.
(If it makes any difference, the prog is Limewire.)
When I click on the icon on my desktop, my harddrive light flashes, as it does when opening any program. However, nothing else happens. And I mean nothing.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program off the website and it does the same.
Does anyone have any idea why it might do this? It was working about a week ago, and then one night it just stopped working.
(And before anyone says anything, I am not using Limewire for illegal activities)

After you have clicked it, bring up the task manager. See if limewire is running, or if the limewire process is running.

Ditch limewire for a start, full of shite, spyware etc..
Check out Frostwire on google, it's based on limewire, but it's free, with crap removed

I am guessing the icon is a shortcut. Try goin to the origina program files. C:\program files\Limewire\Limewire.exe and running it from there.
If that fails uninstall limewire, search the registry for any limewire entries and delete them. Take a backup of the registry first thou. Then reinstall
