Default Cold Air Feed?

I've got a 1.1 Saxo, so when I'm looking for an Induction kit, performance gains would be a minimum gain anyway, so I'm just looking for a nice fairly loud Open cone.

When I went on the PiperCross site, and was looking at buying the open "foam" filter It brought up another item that was a "Cold Air Feed" Would this help with the heatsoak that's common with Open Cone filters, and make sure while I'm not overly bothered about Gains, that I don't particularly loose any performance if possible.

Thanks for any advice people

yes the cold air feed will improve the issue of heat soak, the best thing would be to buy and enclosed kit or try and route the air filter as far away from the manifold and engine as possible and get a heat shield around it

cold air is denser so performance is better, warm ar is not good. more air = more fuel= better gains
