led lighting wiring

Got some led's guys and i want to run them into the front splitter i am a sparky i wire houses though not cars so am i right in saying need to put all earths togever and link to 2 earth points one on each side. now the lives i can run one live to a switch and link the lives togever and on the other side run a fuse to the battery with a link to the switch would it work i have for leds i want them all to work at the same time would this work ?

the best way to do it is to run all the wires over to the drivers side and then put the earth wires to the ignition wire as when the ignition is off the wire is eathed, then put all the live wires through a fuse to the live wire. This way when the ignition is turned off this makes the circuit and you dont have to fart about with switches.

any way you could do me a basic wiring diagram with a switch mate if possible ?

not very easily mate sorry. Is it so you can turn them on and off with a switch?

ye want to be able to trun of and on mate may talk to a guy at work he know's his stuff i not might pay someone

its simple mate. just run the 2 wires into the car and over to the drivers side, then drop down the casing under the steering wheel and you will see a thick red wire this is the live wire, then you will see a bolt this is a good earth point, then just put a fuse on the live wire befor the switch, Job Done.
