Default n00b speaker question

hey all just wondering how much improvement if any i would get from upgrading speakers while keeping standard citroen headunit? I want to keep the car pretty standard looking so dont really want to change the headunit tbh.
thanks

You would see some difference, but not any major, just get a cheap sony one, any is better than the standard one.

To be honest mate, i noticed as big a difference when upgrading the headunit (mainly because of the better amplifier) as i did when I upgraded the speakers. Unfortunately good sound quality isn't really something the standard HU is capable of.

You don't even need to spend that much in my experience, unless you're going for major sound quality (in which case you should be thinking about spending just as much on sound deadning).
