Wish i read this before trying to paint my own effing cover lol!!

I managed to over tighten my bolts. and they popped off Boo!!

Ey well, any guys know where i can get a new Rocker Cover and gasket, also a quick question!! My rocker cover hasnt been on properlly for the past few days im scared dirt n dust may have got into the engine bit under it. Awful terminology i know.

But will it be good for it? Or have not a major affect?

Cheers for this post, if i can get my hands on a new one i'll defo consider coming back to this n referring to it!!

Top props. Thanks again, Joe

This bit of informaton was a god send and I cant thank the author enough I wasent respraying my rocker cover just changing the rocker cover gasket it came off simple enough but spent two hours trying to get the dam thing back on with no joy till I see your post and realised I had to remove the coil pack,as soon as I removed that it went back on no trouble so thanks again.

Don't paint it.

Have it powdercoated instead - no prep required, better and longer lasting finish and around the same cost once you factor in buying paint, primer, krust etc.
