Default Household wipes on a Saxo Dashboard

Hello all

Is it ok to use normal household wipes on a saxo dashboard and doorcards. Just wanted to make sure in case they don't cause any sort of damage to the dashboard or doorcards.

Thanks

I lied, it will spontaneously combust, then you'll die a sudden and unexplained death

I've done a bit of research and generally it seems they are fine to use, however some users have mentioned that they have experienced discoloured doorcards due to some of the chemicals used in the wipes.

I've never had any problem if i've used household wipes. I usually use matte dash wipes and have never really found them to be much different

I bought a bottle of autoglym a few years ago. I'm pretty sure using wipes for as many years is more expensive, then you won't get the same finish.

To be honest I use home furniture polish in most of our cars... Only the BRM and the Jag get the proper treatment... Never had any issues!
