Default Cold air feed

Thinking of putting a cold air feed to my air filter, I heard this adds 25bhp straight away?
Haha but seriously, I'm wanting to do it just to get some colder air to it but not sure where to go to with it? Was maybe thinking of cutting a bit of slam panel out directly in front of the air filter and having a short bit of pipe from behind the front grille, through the slam panel to the air filter?
Wasn't sure what other people have done though so has anyone got any pics of what they've done with ducting? Just looking at ideas before I cut my slam panel!
Cheers

the feed comes from the front of the slam panel already so plumb it into that? not sure how restrictive the bend is like but you could easily unclip it and attach a hose in the area?

Scrapyard and get the piping from slam panel, and point it towards the filter

Even better thing to do is get a enclosed filter! Much better
