You need to lose the top cap and bearing and get an adapter made, as far as i'm aware.

These are normally used with coilovers tbh.

I don't think so. Best bet would be to give Kev a phone and ask, but I can't say i've ever seen spherical bearing top mounts fitted to anything other than coilovers.

I've not designed an adapter for using them with standard top mounts. Its possible to do though.

Do I get some benefit fit them on faulkner 155 lbs springs wing Bilstein Grp. N dampers, fully polybushed wisbones and upper and lover strut braces or stock top mounts will be suficient enough?

You should get more direct steering feel with solid top mounts but I'd be tempted to just run standard type top mounts on a road car.

Well it's a bit allrounder, but I prefer function over comfort

Is the bearing separate from that domed bit? I guess the simplest method is to machine a spacer to sit on the top spring pan, then use a smaller cylindical spacer to move the top mount up to the threaded part. How far will the top nut screw up with that current setup?

its pointless running these on a stock spring as there is NO room to adjust the camber on the slots due to the size of the spring and shape of the strut tower.

kev, the bearing arrangement is nigh on identical to a 205/306 etc, just a different pattern studs, its the same bearing.

Thanks for explaining guys. My last question is if solid top mounts require turrets strenghtening plates?

You can run without them, but I wouldn't recommend it. Some people get away with it and others get doming.
