Not 100% sure, but I think you can get the tool from the dealership, however I used a large Allen key and used a grinder to make it square, or if you want to guess how much oil you need, there's a fill hole on top of the gearbox

halfords do the right size tool, cant say which, buy a few take back the ones that dont fit.

better yet, keep the packaging, clean the one you use up like new, take that back as well. lol

It definitely is 8mm square key! Just give it a little hammer and it should be fine.

Cheers, ill take another look this morning. Maybe its just shit up a bit. If not, i was thinking if i measure the oil that ran out when i pulled out the driveshaft, then put the same back in through the breather hole?

Its an 8mm, it was full of shit so scraped it out and hammered it in. Need to get some new clips for arch liner now. For anyone who's seen any of my other posts, i have finally completed a car repair without breaking anything else hoorah

Yes if you mess with the track rod ends. But driveshaft itself, then no

I may have, i was wrestling trying to get the ball joint thingy back together for ages was a bitch. Only reason i asked was cos i went round a bend pretty quick n it felt a bit off, me last car did the same n the tracking was out, had it done n that sorted it. Hopefully new wheels at weekend so will sort it then...

remove the level plug and fill by pulling off the plastic breather top on top of box and just wait till it comes out of level hole
