exactly the same as David, i have a hour to York, then further to any Yorkshire meet, and usualy the same for NE to get upto teeside end.
Been in an area, means meets need to be central to that area, to try and make driving time minimal, so if the meets are around manchest because its central, just tough titties that u live furthest away tbh

Also, you go on about wanting to meet local people, i know 2 people from SaxP within a hour of me...
For the 1st meet i went to, i drove 2 hours, to South Yorkshire, to see a bunch of people id never met before in my life.
Now id say im mates with a few of em, and i dont complain.
Now stop bitching, a hour is nothing in the car, and petrol isnt a factor, can do 350 miles to a full tank in the VTR, so its not really that much of a factor is it..
And id say Yorkshire is a much bigger area to cater for tbh

I'm not bitching about the petrol or anything, I was clearly just stating it would be much easier if we had more local meets. These could be more often, and good fun.
I dont mind travelling, i went to see Greame in warrington the other day, about 1 hours drive.. It would just be alot easier if we had more 'local' meets.
Think you need to calm down a bit. lol.

If you remember a few of us sorted a meet last Thursday which started off meeting at trafford centre then got changed to tesco because people was up for the drive.
That night we had four cars turn up. About five people said they was coming but then never turned up and didnt even say why ect.
Think people just need to pull fingers out of there a** and get on with it. I used to drive for 2hours when i was down south to meets.

No meet is too far!!! My list of areas attended are North West, North East and Yorkshire - amongst others, and where do I live? The South Coast nr Brighton!
If everyone turned up to the meets, you'd have a really good time!

Notice alot of people saying they turn up to loads of meets etc. Theres been quite a few in blackpool, and the people in this thread making it out they attend every meet havent been to any of the ones in blackpool.

I used to always go to the blackpool meets with my mates..
But then again they were in winter, probably why they weren't all that good.

Well looking on the members map that i've done
The most central spot to everyone on there is Skelmersdale/Ormskerk or even Formby
http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=140326
It looks the most central place anyway
