Default My audio

Just thaught i would get some opinions before i purchace this. Im looking for a half decent setup, nothing massively expensive or great, just to make the music sound a bit better.
Sub:
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/8335.html
Comps:
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/dyna...52-p-5522.html
Amp:
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-gto752-p-6323.html

Will these be a half decent system, will it all run ok using this amp etc?

With the comps will there be instructions on how to wire it all up? Would it be best to run them off the amp not headunit?

Also what wiring kit should i get to wire it all in?
Thanks will be given, cheers guys

The amp you've linked to won't run both the comps and the sub, you're going to need a 4 channel not a 2 channel amp.

i would keep those comps, get this sub/amp package and get this amp for the comp's no change in the cost of your original setup.

its good and will deffo do the job the only think is yeah its good for the comps but not too great for the sub. 300w will do the job but seems

but like i said if you get a mono amp sub package deal the amp would be chosen for that sub. then get the comp's and get a 2 channel amp for them. it works out that you wont be paying more but you would have a setup thats been chosen by experts to run perfectly.

saves you the effort of trying to match up subs and amps.

1 cable 1 distribution block = 2 amps

2 cables runing to the batt is pointless

its like an extension lead with 2 sockets on the end

well the best option is always gonna be seperate amps for comps and sub... good 2 channel for the comps and a powerful and good amp for the sub...

the one a linked would provide you with a bitta boom outta ya sub whilst giving ya comps good power... depends if ya that bothered for stupid loud bass or just want a bitta boom...

Too be honest mate here is what id do, shop around for prices or phone up CAS (car audio security) and see if they will do you a deal for purchasing all this as they are very helpful and friendly, but this would be a better setup, by the way yes there will be instructions with the comps on how to set them up and you really wanna run it off an amp...

here goes:

AMP:
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/8038.html
I personally own it its 4channel so will run your sub and your comps and is very highly rated fantastic amp and looks the dogs... (note it wont take over 4gauge wiring)

SUB:
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/8335.html
I like your style very nice sub in looks and will be a nice sounding sub, obviously it will be underpowered slightly by the amp but that really isnt an issue because at a later date if this annoys you you could always purchase a mono amp...

COMPS:
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/1167.html
From what i read your not an audio addict your just after a reasonable sound system, these will sound 100x better than standard and will sound fab amped, bargin speakers again highly rated especially on the saxo website, speak to coopner about JBL gear in general. if you want some comps that are better but are more pricey these are rated second to none absoultely stunning speakers and look the nuts too just look up "JBL GTO507C"

WIRING KIT:
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/6733.html
Choose anything you like really, the lower the gauge number the more power flow the amp can potentially have 4gauge is more than ok for this sorta setup, i personally chose this wiring kit as its the same as mine and its build quality is super i really cannot fault its, its competition grade and honestly is the nuts! baring in mind though the amp will need 2RCA leads this only comes with one!...

Hope this helps dude just PM me if you need anymore asssitance and let us know how you get on
