"Three Rings Of Death" !!!
Sorry if this has been on here before. Has any one had the Three red flashing lights come up on the Xbox.
Any suggestions for fixing it.

isit under warrenty? if so take the hard drive out and take the box and the shop will give you a new one! Thats what they did for me when i got it

if you spit on the bottom of a disk,and put it in the drive, it should fix it

Three red rings has an extra 3 years warranty now since a few months back if I remember right so just send it off to be fixed.

loadsa methods to supposedly fix it, none work for more than a week or two...
RROD has a 3 year warranty, call the helpline & they'll arrange it to be collected & fixed at no expense of ur own. job done

Don't send it to someone like a "mate" to fix it when they will destroy your warranty. Just send it to Microsoft.

And what happens when the warranty runs out? Like mine. I gave it to my very good friend who repaired it within about an hour.

doesn't matter if your warranty runs out, if you get rrod they fix it anyway cos it's a manufacturer recall, best to get it done by microsoft cos they either give you a new one with the new cooling system or put the system in your xbox so you'll never get it again

Why best to get it done by microsoft? The red ring hasn't actually happened to me but if it did id give it straight to my mate and have it back within an hour. Rather than post it to america or wherever it goes.

whatever you do DO NOT use an x-clamp kit off flee bay with the spring washers, they annihilate the motherboard, i have fixed over a hundred rrod's and its harder if not impossible to fix em once this has been done!! if ya want to send it to me i will fix and send back for £30 return postage included i can also flash it to ixtreme 1.6 for your LEGAL BACKUPS for an extra £10 i have 90% sucsess rate for the rrod and 100% for flashing (i have been doing this since modded firmware was avalable!) and have flashed over 500 boxes, i have had people send me just the drive to flash from all over the uk (advertised on 106oc and stuff for sale grimsby) PM me for details
