Default Xbox Live problem - HELP!!!
well i was playing cod5 last night til about 11:30 and all was fine!

but went to have a go today and couldn't connect to Xbox live! did a connection test and it has come up that my MTU settings are incorrect. i have looked on my router page and it is at 1500 where xbox need a min of 1364.

so what can the problem be? i am annoyed! lol

same happened to mine although i did get a message yesterday saying live was going to be down from 00:01 till late tonight due to maintenance so i presume it is something to do with that.

1500 should be fine dude, some routers run a slighter lower MTU of about 1450 i think but most are 1500 these days. Mine is and i have no issues on LIVE.

Try reboot the router?

yeah i have tried rebooting it, but still get the same. im hoping it is just xbox being down today as it was fine last night!
