as above a section in each regions local chat like the thread ive jut created for NE chat, alot of ppl out of work atm and local ppl posting up there job info may help, i know theres jobs everywhere day to day, thats how i got mine in oct 09, its just locals who find out.... some posts in NE hit home to me as my bro's out of work with a 2 kid family, it may really help alot... think its a worth while suggestion for a change, and i for 1 would like to se it actioned, wont mean much as long as mods can keep on top and keep an eye on it and delete obsolete listings. i wouldnt mind looking after it if it was opened, i know how much it means as ive been laid ov start of nov 5 times.. just escaped it this year and am so glad... actualy had money for xmas for a change....building trade all over
this is why i feel so strongly about this, only has to be basic details, if you know a job or link with a num and or contact name... ppl could try and if its a dud they could post and mods could delete as appropriate

I don't really think this is much use tbh, as Scottish RMO & member for 3yrs I've only seen 2 threads giving heads up on jobs (the most recent was a gd 4months back) and we've probably the biggest & busiest regional section tooi.

A thread for these would disapear off into the other guff after a week or two & it would be a wasted sticky imo because it probably wouldn't get much use

Just use General Chat for this bud

know what you mean but thats why a sticky or sub section would be better, may be quiet but thats only as times are hard lol. if ppl hear after seeing the thread/section they may be more inclined to post up. would benefit alot of ppl. and as you said azrael a thread would just dissapear if not made a sticky this is why a thread is not much use db_sax

tbf if a thread isnt much use becouse its just gonna get leafs blown over it then a forum for the thread would be even more wastefull.
