As above, about to re-spray my front bumper !!

Just wondering what sand paper i need to remove all the paint etc off and be back to rough surface?

If you need to ask that you shouldn't attempt it yourself really mate.

The lower the grit number the more rough it is, higher the number the more fine it is.

The bumpers are plastic so i wouldn't go with anything too rough.. i'd probably start off with a 240, then a 400. Then once primer is on go over with another 400, another coat of primer and 600/800, then it should be ready for paint.

Honestly, i recommend taking it a bodyshop.

Have a search for the guide on refurbing alloys, it will contain alot of useful information for you.

id go for 800 wet and dry for the whole thing,its a bit more effort but anything more than that on plastic and you may end up with scratches showing up in your paint

but id agree with paul,if you dont know what sand paper to use i suggest not doind it yourself,good luck tho
