There are so many thick people coming up from the younger generation that saxos wil lalways be chavvy because people just don't have a clue on how to modify properly

They all want to be 'different'

right is this chavvy or not chavvy sorry got no pics aint got a camera will get some though
Saxo 1.1 forte posi blue mk2
badgless colourcoded grill black mesh
t-cutted badges
tinted side repeaters
tinted rear lights
beasting aerial silver soon change to black
not bad so far right?
flourescant yellowy green viper stripes
flourescant yellowy green lines going across the top of the windscreen, rear window, aerial and tail lights
gloss black steelies with flourescant yellowy green rim
should I remove the flouresant yellowy green stripes or not cause I want it to look out there so it is constantly noticed for whatever reason.
vote for a removal or not
also should I keep the stripes and spray the steelies flourescant yellowy green with a black rim

Removal gets my vote. Highlighted are chav mods.
Some would say the rim tape is ok, but i hate it. Why have a smoked dark theme then vibrant rim tape !

Perfect example of someone trying to be 'different' and going completely the wrong way about it, making their car look like a shed. Spend the money properly and do proper modifications instead of cheap shite like flourescent vinyl...

what everybody is trying to say is :-
Saxos have a good name for there selfs , then all the Chavs A,k,a Neds come along
and spoil it completly by putting on stupid loud exhausts , stupid color codes , infact i would not even say they were color coded cars , random colors in the car and stupid body kits , agian Mr Houstson i could go on also but would end up ruining my day by going in a bad mood.... So not going to bother.....Sleek Slender Smooth MODIFIED saxo is good.

I can't really talk since I had a blue and black two tone saxo but I rarely had a bad word about it, imo I done it properly. Then it sparked loads of awful 2 tones being born like red and black in standard saxo colours...
My old sax;

This was eye catching, but it worked at the same time. I spent the money on a proper respray in an Opel colour with pearlecent paint and kept it subtle even know it was a contrast in colours.

right my idea for a good looking saxo now is:
t cutted badges
dimma grill black mesh
REMOVE THE YELLOWY STUFF
tinted rear lights and repeaters
some smoked headlights
black bee sting aerial
gloss black steelies with blue rimtape
thinking of adding a laguna splitter
lower it about 50mm on front and 45mm on back
raceland induction kit
supersprint race back box
thinking of single wiper conversion with the wiper resting on the passenger side

Much better but for the tinted lights get the real thing as in ultra smoked jewel rear lights, don't use tinting spray.

*wonders where the line can be drawn between 'chavvy' and just plain 'shit', or are they both the same?"
Chavvy is probably most associated with really cheap tacky modifications such as random chrome, lists of parts and gay graphics on the doors.
Whereas shit is when an effort has been made to modify something lets say colourcoded interior plastics yet its not done properly and looks like its been painted with your girlfriends nail polish.
