Do all VTR beams have that yellow on them?
I'm wanting to know whether all VTR/VTS axles have the yellow bit on them as seen in this picture:
Because basically a cowboy garage put an axle on my car and it's fucked, and the beam they have put on my VTR has black, like this:
And on the IM Axle site it seems the black ones are for the base spec models only, i.e. 1.1's, diesel's?

Yeah but are they from the higher spec models that's suited for a VTR, is what I'm saying?
I'm trying to find out if they've tried to cut-costs and used a shite beam because they said the axle they've put on WAS from a VTR...

Generally ye only VTS's and VTR's have the yellow bit, all the lower models have all black instead.

Long story short, I had my axle replaced for it's MOT, and the axle they've put on is fucked.
The axle they have put on has the black bit in the middle like the second picture, and my old beam had the yellow bit.
On the IM Axle website it says that the VTR/VTS beams are the yellow ones, and the lower base spec models like the 1.1's and diesel models are the black beams.
I'm worried they've put a base spec beam on my VTR and just transferred over the disc brakes or something.
But it just seems that the colours are random, or it depends on the year of the Sax?
Edit: Searching on eBay, can't find any VTR/VTS/GTI beams that have the black middle bit, only the lower spec ones have the black on...

Theyre no different, so you dont need to be worried. They can use the same beam and they can use the same stub pins.
