Default Roll Cage through Dash

Anyone got pics of how they've cut the dash for cage to fit? I've had a quick look but all i can seem to find is dash dodgers

normally cut it from windscreen side with small grinding/cutting wheel on a dremmel type item, take some measurements and cut it out bit by bit, trial fitting regular to get the right size

As above, you can also use a hacksaw.

i think davos got a flocked dash? or am i dreaming? if its flocked id be wary of the hacksaw as you may end up damaging the flock in places

but i may be making flocked bit up? lol, in which case it wont really matter too much long as your not heavy handed with it

ah well, hacksaw will be sweet then

could also use a jigsaw, but make sure you tape all the dash up if using a jigsaw or itll probs mark the bit your not removing aswell

i just used a 4 1/2" grinder with a 1mm thin cutting disc to cut the majority out.. then tidied it up with with a P120 flap disc:

i then decided the gaps either side looked gash and cut up another dash for 2 infill pieces:

these are held in place with a 30x3mm thick strip of ally on the underside and 4x (2 in the dash, 2 in the infill pieces) M5 countersink bolts.. once flocked and black ally bolts it should be fairly discreet....

If you have a flocked dash dont worry about damaging it, trust me if its been done properly you will never ever damaged the flocking or pull it off, its on there for good
