When I did the coilovers on my friends MK2 was real easy, took just over an hour! Only thing that we struggled on was the nuts on the front dampers, had to pop down my mates garage and get an impact gun on them!

Half way there. Back is done but we have an issue with the frot so that'll be done first thing in the morning...

Love that BBM.
Now insured as "Lowered suspension"
Just drove to Tesco and the ride is back breakingly hard. No scraping as of yet. Booked in at the body shop for 8am to have the front fitted!

Get used to the ride, mine was fully polybushed on JOM's, bouncy as fuck.
Try getting some MK3 leathers for it, they fit with a bit of welding
