Rad is in
Water pipes made
Water pipes fitted in place (got to make brackets up for final fitment they wont be all on the piss lol)
Temp sensor for digi dash fitted
I think i need some blue seats!!
Brake disks waiting to be picked up from the sponsor as they where made wrong (They drilled wrong pcd into them lol)

Had to laugh to myself today when a delivery guy saw me working on the volvaxo and said " wow i had to do some drive shafts on my saxo this weekend there an arse aint they" Lol i was fitting the water pipes up to the engine...................which is in the back!!!!!

You are going to have to get the axle weights measured and some custom coilovers made, otherwise its going to be a bit shit on the handling front.

I don't think much is going to overcome this hurdle, although i'm not sure handling could ever be mentioned in the initial brief of fitting a t5 in a saxo lol

when we put a 300zx v6 3.0 turbo into a ford 100e.........handling wasn't really on the cards lol.

All this aside, if i remember correctly i think it is this build with an alarming main roll hoop design. So i would do your best not to skimp on suspension and saftey components

Main hoop has been measured by a local engineering company and is being remade from 316 grade stainless steel and no cuts
|

If all its going to do is go up santa pod then fair enough, but with the theoretical high speeds this car could achieve I would be wanting good high speed stability....

you need Volvo fronts and Saxo fronts though won't you?
We can do better service with another supplier for custom setups like this though. They can supply within a reasonable timescale. Not sure where you are based but we can look at getting our mechanic to weigh the car and spec up the spring/ damper rates.
He starts work for us late this month. He's got to win the WTCC first

im in lincs and i can get the car corner weighed if needed as someone i know has corner scales
