Default Problem: parcel Shelf speakers not working

My parcel speakers have completely stopped working and I have no clue why.
I have one jbl amp running a Sony xplod sub and 2 parcel shelf speakers. Everything has been runnin fine for about 2 months ba a few blown fuses and so on. However the other day both rear speakers just stopped working but the sub is still gong. All connections are fine, amp is on and everthings fine. Races are fine, everything in the head unit is fine. Anyone got any ideas? They wouldn't have both blown at the same time? Don't really know what happens when a speaker blows, surley the fuses would've f
Gone first, these are fine.

Can anyone help? Thanks

Might be a dodgy connection along the line somewhere.

If your speakers are blown, I have some 6x9s for sale. Pm me.

I'm ok thanks mate. I've got spare. They. Both went at the same time. I have no idea what it could be. What's the best way to test if they've blown?

Very very unlikely the have both just broken at the exact same time. Check all connections especially at the back of your HU.

No seems all fuses are fine. I've check all connections to amp and heads it. Nothing seems to work? Something wouldn't have gon pre in he amp surley because it would gone protection mode. It's done this before when something happened inside the amp (bit of metal from a snapped RCA was flying around in there). The power cable is pretty battered from where it blew the 60amp fuse befre so cold it be I just need to strip the wires and re wire that power cable? However he sub works so I wouldn't have thought this was the issue??

Anymre ideas?

Right, had a massive go at it today. Still doesn't work. Took amp apart and had a look for anything obvious. Looks fine. Checked rcas, checked speakers everything works if I plug it into other things. Used a voltage testing device, found power coming through the top row of connections (for the sub woofer) but nothing on the bottom row (for the speAkers). Does that mean the issue is the amp and it's fucked?

Also are the wires thick enough to handle the output?

slightly cart before the horse. You should have tested the speaker connections first using another speaker, then rule out the cable connection then the amp.

Retest the amp, just wire an ipod on it or something so to get a signal and use another short cable, wire a means tested speaker and find out. Smells like the amp unfortunately, but you can open up and find out about internal fuses and condensers. I wonder if you had a short, because from experience it does kill the amp section if the protection doesn't kick in.
