Default Phone and cd player don't get along

Whenever my phone is anywhere near my cd player (such as in the little change compartment on the floor console) the cd player starts cutting out or doing signal noises.
Never used to have this problem with my old kenwood cd player. Instead that one used to eat amps lol

this is the pioneer one i have at the moment

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...atalogId=10151

is there anything which can be done to stop them both interfering signals, or nothing?

thanks

Is your phone setup to constantly refresh its network connection at all? Or is it just one of them dodgy phones?

no idea, it's not mine. But I have seen that sort of setting on phones before, it's an option that makes the phone rehook itself onto your network every ten seconds or every two minutes etc depending on how it's set. It's there so you don't lose signal after jumping from one relay to the other. GPRS settings if you got them?

Or just wrap it in tin foil hahah http://williamfaulkner.co.uk/2008/03...ttings-update/
