Nope thats dirt and cobwebs. I will either replace the body parts in indigo or maybe even respray the car in Renaultsport liquid yellow.
In the meantime its pink. Its just a colour it doesnt bother me. I could have a whole crowd of people laughing at it. In fact that would give me pleasure having people hate lol

Small bit of progress tonight.
Am wanting to cut some holes in the number plate recess for cooling/badass purposes but was greeted to velcro stuck on number plate with shiteloads of sticky krap
After..
Eventually armed with a game card I got most of it off and then the penny dropped that I had white spirit in the shed and it came off in seconds.
Is there anything behind this important or can I drill away?
Removed my electric mirrors so have a set for sale. Was in the van during the hot weather and had my hand out the window at 70mph and noticed how much of a difference an open hand made compared to a fist in drag terms. So im going to get evo style mirrors. Will make a difference considering at foxhole a standard car will hit 120mph no problems.
Oh and the door damage from another angle

Im actually banging my head right now cos when I did it I didnt care thinking it will get replaced anyway. Now the more I look at it the more I like it. Haven't even washed and polished it yet and I think that will make it look better.
Some nice race decals would sort it out a treat though im thinking black and white.

Im officially glad im not a mechanic!
Try to remove headlights.....need to remove bumper....
Remove ecu to look at ecu tray.....one of ecu tray bolt snaps while undoing it
Get ecu tray off (whilst the remains of the bolt are stuck in the car)....look at engine mount.....engine mount looks fooked.
Here's a pick im no mechanic but im guessing this is causing the vibrations in the car?

Nah, in all serious I don't think the colour is an issue. With a decent livery over the top of the pink, it won't look bad at all.

That's what im thinking. Besides, replacing bonnets and bumpers etc in Indigo or sundance isn't particularly hard or expensive.

There's loose rubber underneath it?
I've never seen what a normal one looks like.

So short term plans.
Remove angel eyes (and therefore bumper)
Remove fogs and clean bumper
Clean interior/treat rust
Remove dash and tidy wiring
Remove sunroof and weld/bolt in metal plate

Thats LONG term.
In a month or so the engine wi be coming out and the bay getting resprayed as well as the underneath and all arches.
I have the space, time and patience to make this an awesome car. Wouldn't want to disappoint this time round
